Things just keep getting more and more complicated. I have heard (from a passenger on a ship while working) that starting September 1st, everyone crossing the border into Canada/US via automobile will need a passport or pass card. My problem is that by the time I fly our entire family to Juneau to obtain pass cards I have spent the same amount as traveling by ferry! I will need to do more research on the Homeland Security website and get back to this later. The fun never ends. I just want to get on the road.
